Heidi Klum in Lingerie??

Heidi, what were you thinking?

Heidi Klum stepped onto the Grammys red carpet wearing glorified lingerie, and that may be putting it nicely.

This wasn’t well-done, tasteful lingerie, either.

It honestly looked like she stepped off of the strip club stage and onto the red carpet. Not really the look a supermodel should be going for.

Much like Lady Gaga, Klum also went for an all-black, body-suit-with-a-gown ensemble. But unlike Gaga, Klum’s stopped traffic for all of the wrong reasons.

Klum’s Ashi Studio dress was almost completely sheer, over a corset-esque body suit. The sheer fabric had black polka dots throughout it, but also featured panels of black lace.

There was simply too much going on.

If the model wanted a sheer aspect in the dress, balancing it out with an opaque skirt or other component would have provided the tastefulness that Klum’s dress was missing.

If she wanted to go for a lingerie feel, there are ways to do so without looking tacky or cheap.

The white, dreamcatcher earrings only added confusion to the outfit.

While Gaga had tied her black gown in with black accessories, Klum’s white earrings add an out-of-place pop to the already unflattering outfit.

The strappy black heels somewhat added to the stripper-feeling that the dress was giving off, probably not what Klum had in mind.

The dress definitely did not look like it had the price tag it most definitely had.

While Klum is known for taking risks, they usually pay off. This was one risk that was definitely not worth taking.
