Hollywood’s biggest night kicked off on Sunday on the red carpet before the stars sat to enjoy the 90^th Academy Awards.

While there were heartfelt speeches and political statements… let’s talk about the fashion.

Alison Janney was by far one of the most best-dressed stars to grace the red carpet in a Reem Acra gown.

In her bright red, floor length gown she was stunning.

The low-cut neckline was perfectly balanced by the draping, floor-length sleeves.

That’s right, floor-length sleeves.

The actress took the intricate, bell sleeve trend to new heights.

The Best Supporting Actress winner kept her accessories simple.

She wore a pearl necklace, a diamond bracelet and one ring.

Her clutch bag was the same hue as her dress and blended perfectly.

The actress let the dress take center-stage with simple makeup and an updo.

Red is obviously a power color, but Janney made red her color on the red carpet.
